Team Innovation: Africa came together to raise awareness and donations for the Innovation: Africa charity by racing our bicycles in the Race Across America, RAAM. We competed in RAAM 2014 in an entirely new way, from our minimal crew, to our unique rider rotations. We wanted to show that RAAM is something that can be done competitively on a reasonable budget. Our race wasextremely successful. As a rookie team we not only finished the race in under 5 days 12 hours and 41 minutes setting a RAAW record we raised over $250,000 for our charity and gained a great deal of exposure.
